Within the project there are 17.85 km main line, 2 cut & cover and 11 NATM tunnel type stations. There is a fully automatic underground parking system at the City Hospital Station. The design speed is 90 km/h.
This line is the continuation of Uskudar-Umraniye- Cekmekoy, which is Türkiye's first driverless metro line.
The metro has “Driverless Subway and Signaling System” and “Full Height Platform Separator Door (PAKS) System”.
