The 100 MW Power Plant located in Athlone, Roscommon County, Ireland, consists of five gas reciprocating engines exporting power to the grid via an adjacent 110 kV connection, five buildings and all required facilities for the power plant.
In this Centrica Business Solutions invested project, engines and their design are supplied by MAN Energy Solutions and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) is held by GAMA Construction Ireland. Construction has started in 2023.
within the scope of detailed design studies, architectural, structural and civil design, mechanical, electrical, electronical & instrumentation studies, process design basis and engineering, piping design and HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies are conducted by Yüksel Proje.
