Recirculating Aqualculture System
10,000 tons/year of Atlantic salmons and fish processing
The project consists of a large-scale land-based recirculating aquaculture facility with an annual processing capacity of 10,000 tons of Atlantic salmon and fish for the retail market.
Based on a sustainable, land-based production system that processes and reuses water, the salmon farming facility provides the public with the freshest, clean, local Atlantic salmon.
Buildings within the scope of the project:
and related auxiliary buildings/structures such as wastewater treatment facilities, electric/substation room, generator room, underground fuel tank, guardhouse, oxygen generator room. All complementary elements of design for the proper functioning of these building such as roads, site utilities and landscape are also included.
Project processes are carried out with the use of BIM for design, and all structures of the facility (building, infrastructure, road, etc.) are designed by coordinating over digital information models.
It was intended that with optimization studies in the structural disciplines (excavation, ground improvement etc) and in E&M undertaken in line with the design optimization studies in process design conducted by the project stakeholders, the project will set an example for other similar projects.
