9,000 m² capacity expansion
Next-generation service areas for BC and FFP passengers
The project covers the expansion and renovation of the existing Turkish Airlines CIP Lounges located in the International and Domestic Terminals of Istanbul Airport. Within the scope of the project, next-generation passenger areas are being designed for Business Class (BC) and Frequent Flyer Program (FFP) passengers.
Through the project, the CIP lounges will be expanded by approximately 9,000 m², increasing the total passenger capacity by an additional 1,164 people. Upon completion, the project will create THY’s largest and most prestigious passenger lounge group.
Developed around the “Flow” concept, the design approach emphasizes natural textures, biophilic design principles, a warm material palette, and a human-centered planning perspective. The project includes a variety of dedicated spaces addressing different user needs, such as relaxation and dining areas, individual and shared working spaces, children’s play areas, open terraces, offices, an à la carte restaurant, and a tapas bar.
Aiming to enhance passenger comfort and overall travel experience, the project also utilizes digital platforms for document sharing and archiving processes among all stakeholders throughout the project management cycle.
