Provision of construction supervision services in two of the Ankara metro projects which started in 1992 with the Ankara Light Rail System (ANKARAY), and provision of engineering and design services in 5 of the projects.
In the Kızılay area which is the centre of transport in the capital city of Ankara, the existing transport systems proved insufficient, resulting in traffic congestion. With the completion of Ankara’s first rail system project which includes the Kızılay area it is expected that the traffic load will be reduced. Furthermore, the high pollution rate in Ankara during that stage made this project and the metro projects that followed, essential.
The total length of the 7 projects under the Ankara rail system project is approximately 80,4 km and includes 77 stations.
Construction supervision services for the final account and performance certificate process of sections M2, M3 and M4 of the Ankara Metro, the stations and structures on line M4 and the additional electro-mechanical works are ongoing.
