In addition to other sources that supply Ankara with water, the construction of a new distribution pipeline is planned that will supply water from the Kesikköprü dam to Ankara. The distribution line consists of three parallel pipelines of 129 km length each (total length 390 km) with pipes of 1,600 mm diameter. There are 10 depots with a total capacity of 205,000 m3 and 5 pump stations along the length of the distribution line.
