West Wastewater Treatment Plan: 87,500 m³/day
The project consists of 3 major parts;
Bursa East Wastewater Treatment Plant is designed in two phases to provide the domestic wastewater treatment for an equivalent population of approximately 2,000,000 at the east basin of the city. The plant which uses advanced biological treatment methods also carries out denitrification and dephosphorization. The capacity is 240,000 m3/day.
Bursa West Wastewater Treatment Plant is designed in two phases to provide the domestic wastewater treatment for an equivalent population of approximately 650.000 at the west basin of the city. The plant which uses advanced biological treatment methods also carries out denitrification and dephosphorization. The capacity is 87,500 m3/day.
Hamitler Solid Waste Leachate Treatment Plant was built to treat the leachate with it’s high pollution load which leaks from the solid waste storage site, so as to prevent contamination of the soil, groundwater and surface waters.
