The 16.5 km long light rail system consists of two intersecting alignments. The first of these is the 9.7 km long alignment between the SSK Hospital - Central Bus Station; and the second one the 6.8 km long alignment between Osmangazi University - Center- Kuyubasi.
The alignments under the project house 26 stations, 60.000 m2 depot area, a maintenance workshop with 5000 m2 indoor space, management building with 1600 m2 indoor space, 2.92 km depot area, 6 transformer and other structures, the signalling, telecommunication and command centre.
