The project covers the engineering and design services for the “Purple Line” and the “Green Line” within the scope of the Baku Metro Expansion Program.
The project aims to increase urban transportation capacity and diversity by delivering new and partially completed metro infrastructure in compliance with international engineering standards as well as environmental and social standards; to reduce traffic congestion; to minimize impacts during the construction process; and to provide a safe, sustainable, and efficient urban transportation system in the long term.
Scope of Services
- Design and feasibility studies of Y14-Y15-Y16 and Y17 stations on the Green Line and approximately 7 km long tunnels connecting these stations
- Design and feasibility studies of B5-B6A-B6B-B7 and B8 stations on the Purple Line and approximately 8 km long tunnels connecting these stations
- Rearrangement of the connection between the Green and Red Lines at the critical junction point “28 May” station
- Design of an access chamber, turning tunnel and underground parking at “Icherisheher” station
- Design and feasibility study of the Khojasan Depot Area on the Purple Line
- Design review and feasibility study of the existing Darnagul Depot Area on the Green Line
