The total length of the bridge from shore to shore including the North and South approach viaducts reaches 4540 m. The width of the deck is 35,93 m, the height 4,75 m. It has 6 lanes in total, consisting of 3 lanes in each direction with a 3.65 m width each.
The whole of the Istanbul-Izmir Motorway that connects the Marmaray region to the Aegean region covers 384 km highways and 42 km connection roads, it’s total length being 426 km. The project also covers a large number of bridges, viaducts and tunnels.
