A 65 km long double track, standard gauge railway project from Tlemcen to Akkid-Abbas. The design speed is 220 km/h.
There are 2 stations, 30 bridges and 14 tunnels within the scope of the project.
This railway line is major and strategic network component of the country which connects Oran city to Moroccan border. One of the longest viaducts in Algeria with a length of 1.2 km is also within the scope of the project.
