3 Pumping station
Under the heading of water which is the subject of the first action of the IPA-II period Environment and Climate Action Sectorial Operational Program, the project objective is to prevent pollution of the river Kizilirmak and to improve the function of the existing wastewater collector located in the Central Sivas province.
The wastewater collection line on the right and left shore of the river Kızılırmak will transmit %73 of the total wastewater expected from the population of Sivas Central in the target year 2052 to the existing treatment facility, ensuring that the existing system functions more comfortably, and will transfer the wastewater of the new settlements on the right and left river shore and those under the city development plan which currently discharge their wastewater into the river Kızılırmak, to the treatment facility.
A feasibility report for the wastewater collection line on the right and left shore of the river Kizilirmak, the IPA application form, the design of the 32.7 km collection line and 3 pumping stations, one of them being a packaged pump station, and the design of their pipelines are undertaken under the contract scope. Furthermore, a SCADA system and all design drawings under the work scope that are required to integrate the pump centre into the existing system, are provided.
