In addition to serving the Cukurova, Southeast and Eastern Anatolia regions for the dry cargo vessels with its landing wharfs, Iskenderun Port also provides transit services for Middle East countries like Syria, Iran and Iraq. Port has connection to trade centers with national highways and motorways.
In line with the feasibility study prepared by the client; studies related with renovation and capacity increase of the port by establishment of inner and outer ports, current situation analysis and investment recommendations, design for the new breakwater in line with the decisions reached, application details for the inner and outer port dredging, and design for the additional new quays related with renewal and fortification of the existing quays are carried out. Port design was developed in conformity with the target of 1.300.000 TEU/year.
