The Tourism Coastal Structures Master Plan Study aims to evaluate the current situation, problems and expectations of stakeholders in marine tourism and yacht tourism, which are an important sub-sector of tourism, to predict the increasing general and regional demands in this area, and to meet these demands at the location and on time. In addition, it aims to develop strategies and create a plan for determining the type, function, capacity and location of the infrastructure of coastal structures that will be needed for expanding marine tourism on the coasts of our country, to increase employment in this sector and to bring added value to the country's economy.
The results of this study were approved by the T.R. Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, published in July 2010 and made available to stakeholders on the website of the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments.
