Marine structures at Tupras Refinery located in Izmit was partly damaged in 1999 earthquake. New investment plans of Tupras included, fortification of damaged marine structures in addition to construction of new ones.
Project scope includes; disassembly of the existing 280 m quay and 640 m wharf, construction of a 780 m new quay and 640 m new wharf instead for berth of 5.000 DWT – 100.000 DWT vessels, supply of loading arms, fire protection and fire-fighting facilities, control and operator buildings, piping structures, mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
