The section in Turkiye of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline starts from the northeast border of Turkiye and ends in Ceyhan which will have a new sea terminal at Mediterranean Coast of Turkey. The total length of the line is 1,100 km. Total line length is 1,750 km.
Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Project has the carrying capacity of 50 million ton crude oil for per year to international market. It is financed by a consortium created by international oil company. Turkiye section structure works of the project have been performed under BOTAS supervision.
Geographic Information System Applications (GIS) of section with 550 km of the BTC Pipeline, Ceyhan Terminal Area drilling works onshore and offshore, measurement stations located in general facility area, Pig station design, preparation of topographic, geologic, geotechnical surveys, design, construction and electro-mechanical implementation projects of the tanker pier project that has 2 x 300.000 DWT load capacity and design of buildings and infrastructures.
